Trees are poems are a serie of small diptych paintings painted with oil and acryl on wood.

A tree, as any normal tree outside was a starting point in this painting series. In the process I combined it into my inner world of feelings, ideas and inner process of growth. A tree with its roots and branches picture my emotional life, my dreams and visions, and the way I look at the world. Also throughout times and cultures trees have been carrying different meanings. A tree as a symbol represents growth and life itself. As a holy tree, the roots are grounded and branches reach out to the sky to form a symmetrical image. The holy tree represents growth. The roots are our basic ground here in this earth and the branches symbolize spiritual growth towards the light.
